At order stage: Since each item is made to order, Livspace cannot cancel, replace or modify items once the order is placed. However, please be assured that your design team will always explicitly discuss all items with you before placing orders.

What is the 72-hour inspection policy?
Expect no delays. Once you notify Livspace for a return request, we will make sure that a Livspace executive visits your site to inspect the product. If applicable, your return will be initiated in just 72 hours.
When will I receive a replacement?
When a return is accepted, the timeline for the replacement to reach you may vary from product to product. A Livspace representative will keep you informed at all times, and we will make all efforts to make your new product reach you very soon.
What is Delay Penalty?
Delay Penalty is a discount offered to customers when handovers are delayed for a period longer than 15 days after the confirmed move-in date*. This date is communicated in the Project Schedule after all the sales orders are raised.
How much is the penalty?
In the event of delays in Handover (except snag rectification), you shall be entitled to receive a delay penalty equivalent to 0.25% (zero point two five percent) of the Project Value per week of delay in Handover, subject to a maximum penalty of 3% (three percent) of the Project Value (“Delay Penalty”), which Delay Penalty shall be payable beyond a grace period as may be applicable to your Project, in the following manner :

E.g., Move In Date - 1st July 2024. Project Value (net offer/ discount): INR 10,00,000/-. In this case, penalty of INR 2,500 (0.25% of INR 10,00,000/-) per week will be applicable in case of delay beyond July 16th 2024
The maximum delay penalty payable cannot exceed 3% of the total project value.
*Move-in definition: A project is considered ready to move-in if the kitchen, living, bed and bathrooms are functional. In projects with minor snags (such as replacement of a part or whole of a functional unit, delayed supply of a free-standing unit/ product, snags in false ceiling/ finishing/ electrical works etc.), the home is still considered ready to move-in as long as the snags do not affect the functionality of the home.
Functional: The snags existing will not disallow a person from living in the premises
Delay Penalty Disbursement Policy – Livspace Home Store Credit Only
Effective from 15th December 2025, any delay penalty, if determined and payable to a customer in relation to project execution timelines in accordance with the manner set out above, shall be discharged solely and exclusively in the form of a ‘Livspace Home Store Credit Coupon’ (hereafter referred as the “Coupon”).
Under no circumstances shall any such delay penalty be paid, settled, or adjusted by way of cash, cheque, bank transfer, digital payment, or any other monetary instrument or mode whatsoever.
I. Issuance and Nature of Coupon : The Coupon shall-
- Be issued only to the registered email address of the customer as recorded in Livspace’s systems;
- Be redeemable exclusively on Livspace-owned and operated platforms, including but not limited to https://www.livspacehome.com, or as may be determined by Livspace from time to time; and
- Be governed by and subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions set out herein, as well as Livspace’s prevailing website terms and policies.
Issuance of the Coupon shall constitute full and final settlement of the applicable delay penalty, and the customer hereby waives any right to claim the same in any alternative form, unless agreed upon otherwise in writing.
II. Redemption, Validity, and Use Conditions
- Validity: The Coupon shall be valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of issuance. Upon expiry, the Coupon shall automatically lapse, and no extension, revalidation, or reissuance shall be permitted under any circumstances.
- Restricted Use: The Coupon may be redeemed only by logging in using the same registered email address to which the Coupon was issued.
- delivery charges, service fees, or third-party products are excluded from the Coupon applicability.

- Non-Transferability and Non-Convertibility: The Coupon is personal to the customer, non-transferable, and non-assignable, and shall not be exchanged, refunded, encashed, or redeemed for cash, bank credit, or any other form of monetary consideration, whether in whole or in part.
- Multiple Redemptions: Subject to validity, the Coupon may be redeemed across multiple transactions until the entire value is exhausted. Any unused balance remaining upon expiry of twelve (12) months from the date of issuance shall be forfeited without notice or compensation.
- No Clubbing with Other Offers: The Coupon shall not be combined with any other discounts, promotional offers, vouchers, or schemes unless expressly permitted/ enabled by Livspace.
- Loss, Misuse, and Verification:
- Lost, misplaced, or accidentally deleted Coupons will not be reissued under any circumstances. Customers are solely responsible for retaining Coupon details securely.
- Any attempt to misuse, replicate, manipulate, or fraudulently redeem a Coupon shall result in immediate cancellation of the Coupon, without prejudice to Livspace’s right to suspend or terminate the customer’s account and/or pursue appropriate legal remedies.
- Livspace reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of the customer prior to permitting redemption.
Livspace may update this delay penalty disbursement policy from time to time in line with applicable laws and business requirements. Any such updates will apply on a prospective basis. Decisions relating to the issuance, calculation, and use of the Coupon will be taken in a fair and reasonable manner in accordance with this Policy.
When is the Delay Penalty not applicable?
In case of Force Majeure, Livspace will duly inform the customer of the delay arising out of Force Majeure within 72 hours from the occurrence of the Force Majeure event(s) or from the time Livspace has become aware of the occurrence of such Force Majeure event(s), whichever is later.
